I feel like this blog has turned into all-raffle-all-the-time, with room for the occasional rant (see yesterday's enlightened railing against polygraph examinations for an example). I'm not going to try and do anything about it until after the raffle is over--if we're all lucky, I'll have come up with something remotely clever to say by then.
So, prizes! Everyone loves prizes in a raffle. Here are a very large percentage of the prizes. I'm still waiting on some photos, so I can't put them all up, but here are most of them:
First off, we have the fabulous Spunky Eclectic Super Socks in Leaf Peep, donated by Lyn.
Spunky Eclectic Skinny sock yarn in Good Morning, also donated by Lyn. How cheerful is this?
Spunky Eclectic Beefy sock yarn in Walkabout, again incredibly generously donated by Lyn.
Next, we have Lisa Souza Hardtwist in a custom-dyed colorway to match the colors of my university, George Washington University. Prewound to show off how awesome the colors come together.
Next up, we have Jojoland Harmony laceweight, 880 yds. Dig those long color transitions.
Different colorway of the Jojoland Melody in beautiful seaside-like colors. There are two balls of this and they will be two separate prizes.
Next up is a skein of Dream in Color Smooshy in Cool Fire.
Next is Claudia Handpainted Sock Yarn in a super-exciting, hyper-bright turquoise that is just so, so cool, even if this picture of it is kind of lame.
Next, Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock in Gold Hill. Really nice autumnal colors.
Next is a skein of Tess' Designer Yarns Cascade Lace, 675 yds of silk laceweight in a gorgeous royal blue, donated by old friend Nea.
Next up, stitchmarkers donated by Kate from KnittyK8. These will all go as one lot for the raffle. I am in serious love with her Clapotis markers.
Finally, Sheri from The Loopy Ewe donated both a $25 gift certificate for her fabulous online store (seriously, that place is a trap--it lures you in with pretty things and keeps you there with the amazing customer service) and then a skein of Wollmeise sock yarn in Suzanne. The photo shows three but there is only one. Sheri only has one left and it's going to the raffle.
Upcoming are a skein of Fleece Artist and a major collection of stitchmarkers from Aija at Zero Markers.
Lots and lots of prizes, so keep donating! We're headed towards the third and final goal!
